Bismuth

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

Bismuth is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. It runs entirely on your device. There is no Bismuth account, no Bismuth server, and no backend that stores or processes your information.

What we collect

Nothing. Bismuth has no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no user accounts. We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data.

Your keys and wallet

Network connections

To function as a wallet, Bismuth reads balances and broadcasts the transactions you choose to send by contacting public blockchain RPC endpoints. Like any wallet or website request, those endpoints can see your device's IP address and the public wallet address involved in a request. Bismuth adds no tracking to these requests, and you can configure your own RPC endpoints.

Websites and dApps

When you visit a website, Bismuth makes a wallet provider available to that page (the standard EIP-1193 / EIP-6963 mechanism) so you can choose to connect. A site only learns your address, and can only prompt for a signature, after you explicitly approve it in a Bismuth window. Bismuth does not read page content.

Permissions

Data sharing

We share nothing, because we collect nothing.

Children

Bismuth is not directed to children under 13.
